History as an Offshore Centre

Already during 1976 the first laws were passed to allow the formation of international companies, insurance companies, trusts and banks. Swiss lawyers drew up the first legislation together with the SVG Government and formed the St. Vincent Trust Service in Europe to market SVG as an offshore centre. The involvement of the Swiss with decades of experience, resulted in user-friendly company documentation being created, including the documentation being issued with appropriate notarisation and with an Apostille, which ensures acceptance by international banks and lawyers. The additional advantage of a quality service in the centre of Europe where all enquiries, amendments, instructions etc., can be ordered also proved to be a sound step.
