About us

To continue to be in a position to face the constant new challenges from the business world we are pleased to announce the following increased capacity to our headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein.

As of August Prestige Trust reg., a licensed trust company in Liechtenstein, has joined the Jeeves Group. This company with a staff of 5 will move into the main office building at Bahnhofstrasse 7, Schaan. Prestige Trust reg. headed by Dr. Heinz Hagen is specialized in areas where the Jeeves Group wished to expand, so that the companies? activities not only complement each other, but we gain qualified staff as well.

Dr. Heinz Hagen was born 1955 and after primary and junior schools in Lustenau and Bregenz, Austria, went on to study business economics in Innsbruck. He achieved his doctor?s degree in 1981. Professionally he worked in the traditional textile industry in Vorarlberg, Austria. He also made a career in banking with the Austrian Province Bank resp. Bank Austria from 1983 to 1992 as manager for industrial and high net worth asset individuals. From 1999 to 2002 he was General Manager for Bodycote in Schaan, a British quoted company. From 2002 to 2005 he was deputy general manager for a large Liechtenstein trust company before forming as managing director and partner of the Prestige Trust reg. Prestige will benefit from the multidisciplinary infrastructure within the Jeeves Group.

Prestige will offer us a further client base and expertise in promising growing markets. Dr. Heinz Hagen will also join our Management Committee. He speaks English, German and French and his hobbies are skiing, hunting and shooting.
 
In our last Newsletter we informed our readers that Peter Weidinger had joined our Management Committee. Peter Weidinger was born 1960, is a Swiss citizen and attended the primary and junior schools in Chur, Switzerland. During his legal studies at the University of Zurich he taught at various schools on the subjects of economics and commercial accountancy.
 
Between the university terms he undertook his military service achieving the rank of Captain.

After successful completion of his university exams, he passed his Swiss Bar examination in June 1993. Thereafter he was responsible for customer relations, client consultancy, estate planning and tax matters, as well as the administration of the same and connected personnel management.
 
As a result of his additional further education during 2000 as a compliance officer, his duties also included due diligence, compliance and he was the responsible person for US withholding tax questions. He speaks English, French and Italian.

Peter Weidinger is married, has three children and his hobbies are skiing and sailing.

We are also pleased to announce that Dr. Norbert Marxer has joined us as consultant as of the 1st August 2007.

Dr. Norbert Marxer was born 1943, is a Liechtenstein citizen and attended primary and grammar schools in Liechtenstein.
 
After studying law in Innsbruck and Geneva he achieved his doctor?s degree in both laws in April 1974 at the University of Salzburg. He completed his professional training at the Princely court of Liechtenstein, the regional Austrian courts in Feldkirch and Bregenz and at the State Chancellery in St. Gall, Switzerland. From 1976 Dr. Marxer held various positions with the Liechtenstein Government where he was head of Chancery, Ombudsman, Head of legal Services, Deputy Public Prosecutor. He also represented Liechtenstein for various cases before the European Human Rights Commission and is an acknowledged authority on the Liechtenstein legal system. He received form the Federal President of Austria the Grand Silver Medal of Honour.
 
From 2001 Dr. Norbert Marxer was active as a partner in a major Liechtenstein Fiduciary firm, where he was responsible for a major Swiss bank, client services and asset planning. Dr. Marxer is married and the father of four children.

We have also added to our staff considerably and to accommodate this increase we have taken additional offices in the building adjacent to us. The new premises at Poststrasse will give us the urgently required expansion space. Our international freight company, SLT Speditions Est., has moved from Bahnhofstrasse 7 to the top floor of the Poststrasse premises.

We have also as a newcomer on our general staff since 1st August Dr. Daniel Pircher whom we would like to introduce. Dr. Daniel Pircher is an Austrian citizen, who achieved a doctorate of law and studied economics at the renowned University of Innsbruck.

After his general practice at the Innsbruck Courts of Justice and in an Austrian law firm he was a legal advisor to a Liechtenstein trust company for the last four years. He speaks English, Italian and French and is ideally suited to assist clients' international affairs.

The new appointments to our Group reflect our continuing expansion and the ensuing requirement for highly qualified staff. Continuity and innovation remains an important and integral part of our forward strategy.
